Poland bestowed its top award on the late US president Ronald Reagan, in a posthumous homage for his role in the collapse of the communist bloc. The wife of the former US leader, Nancy Reagan, is to receive the Order of the White Eagle from Polish President Lech Kaczynski during his visits in US. There are also plans to erect a privately-funded statue in memory of Reagan in the center of the Polish capital.
