Chicago Botanic Garden

This is the second most visited botanic garden in the United States, with 23 spectacular gardens on 385 acres. Owned by the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, the Garden is a place of ever-changing natural beauty that you can stroll through daily. The Garden also invites the visitors to participate in Grand Tram Tours, which provide 45-minute narrated overview of the entire place.
Chicago Botanic Garden offers the opportunity of making use of its library. It features approximately 14,000 volumes & videos. Open from 9:00 A.M.to 4:00 P.M. Monday - Saturday.

English Walled Garden to the wild Midwestern Prairie,
specialty gardens and native habitat areas show the diverse beauty of
nature.
Closed Sundays and holidays. Free Entrance, parking cost $7.00.

Garfield Park Conservatory
Chicago, IL
This one of two historic conservatories owned and operated by the Chicago Park District. Built in 1907 by the great landscape architect Jens Jensen, this revolutionary building is one of the largest gardens under glass in the world. Its sister facility is the Lincoln Park Conservatory located in Lincoln Park. Is located only 10 minutes west of downtown Chicago.
open every day of the year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Parking is available just south of the Conservatory.
